This is the very first movie based on the books by the author J.K.Rowling
The Star became famous from these is:
Daniel Radcliffe.
Since playing Harry Potter he has gone on to do other things and I'm sure he will continue to do many more.
Still it's no doubt Harry Potter will go down in History just like The Wizzard of Oz.

Disc One-The Sorcerer's Stone- starts off with showing us how Harry is intoducted into the world of "normal" people. Then how he finds out how he is a wizzard. He has to travel back and forth each school year between his step-parents "normal" home and the Hogworts School for Wizzards where he learns how to use his craft.

Of course being a young boy he does get himself into mischelf now and then. He meets friends who help him get in and out of trouble many times.

Disc Two- and the Chamber of Secrets- it's plain to see how much he's grown up. Creatures have come to call on him from Hogwarts. Are they friend or foe? Do they bring him trials or tribulations, You make up your mind. We see a flying car, and many other things that can fly, up and down chimney's, No it's not Santa Clause.

Disc Three- and the Prisoner of Azkaban-
Here Harry and his Friends are not children anymore. Here they are young adults. Here they have to face some very heavy burdens. Fighting for their lives, if you will.
Harry really grows up by the end of this movie. Learn what it means to be a wizzard.

yes this is used, but I just watched it for the first time in my life...and everthing played LIKE NEW !!!!!! I did not watch any of the special sceene disc's they are not my thing. some people love to know all that behind the sceen stuff. not me. so those disc's were probably never even played. The Set was given to me to put on Listia by my 62 year old sister. she and her husband could not go see these movies in the theater due to his disability so they watched them at home once the disc's came out. No children ever handled them. And they were not watched over and over or left sitting out on the tables. Everything was well cared for and handled correctly. I hope this answeresyou questions fully...
