Terrific! Yeah, it does make a difference if it's a game you've already registered. :)

Basically each user at Club Nintendo can register one copy of each Nintendo-published game to earn points. This is from Nintendo's site on the subject:

"Why can't I register more than one of any product in my Club Nintendo account?

You can register as many of any one product (systems or games) as there are members in your Family Account. Please note that only the first game registered will be eligible for the survey and Coins. "

Fortunately for me, I haven't registered Professor Layton yet, so I'll be bidding like crazy on this PIN. ^__^

If you have any other PIN, I'll be interested to know what series. Right now I need one DS code and one Wii code (or three DS codes), and once I get "Mario Galaxy 2" that should put me in "Platinum" status with Club Nintendo.
