This volume is the standard introduction to the landmark buildings of Illinois. In a state with such abundant architectural riches, the author selects the world-famous examples as well as a handful of lesser-known treasures. Though dated, this study continues to stand as an effective, concise summary of the architecture of a state with a building heritage of global importance.
