The listing, 1 YD COACH DOUBLE C LOGO RIBBON 7/8" WIDE, GIN-2 YDS has ended.

Up for auction is one yard of this Coach signature logo print ribbon. The width is 7/8 inches. The ribbon has a white background, borders of red and green, and the famous Double C in multi-colors. JUST BEAUTIFUL!

Ribbons are useful in 101 craft projects- making hair bows or headbands, bracelets or necklaces, scrap booking, card making, sewing-trimming clothing, purses, crocheting or quilting projects, decoupage, decorating gifts, baskets or wreaths, etc.

I sometimes use ribbons to decorate my needlepoint projects. My grandmother used to thread ribbon through many of her crocheted items-hats, mittens, sweaters, blankets, etc. She even did this with clothes that she crocheted for my Barbie dolls. She'd use 1/8 inch ribbon-so tiny. Both my mother and grandmother loved to sew, and would make clothes for everyone, often they would be trimmed with ribbon. They made some gorgeous things. Ahh....Memories can be so sweet!

Memories are wonderful aren't they. I remember my grandmother had an old iron sewing machine, the kind with the big metal grate foot petal, that was built into a wood desk type table toward the sewing machine would flip into the table... I loved that thing, I used to like to just sit at it and work the foot petal, that is until she would catch me and make me stop hehehe... Yep, memories are wonderful!

LOL, my grandmother had the same type-a Singer treadle machine, no electricity needed. I learned how to sew on it. My mother wouldn't let me touch her brand new (electric) machine, with the fancy stitches and all the bells and whistles!

Hahaha! Yes Ma'am that was the kind! It has a skinny neck and a kinda big wheel to manually slowly spin the needle up and down if needed be... I wish I would have it today. Not just because it would be a fantastic antique but because it was my grandma's... sighs :-)
