Up for auction is a brand new has never been used quart sized sharps container. It is very handy to take on the go with you. if you need to test your sugar often because it will fit in your purse or in your car or is also great just to use at home instead of having to use one of them great big ones. it has to compartments on top that opens. one is round and one is square. It can be used to dispose of you're used insulin needles. or you can also use it to dispose of your test strips and you're test needles, if you are a diabetic.. I had bought 2 of them and that's what I use mine for because I am a diabetic so I use it to put my used test strips in my test needles in it and my used insulin needles. It says it can be disposable but with mine I do not throw it away. but I have bags that when it is full I empty it into the bag and take it to my local hospital and take it to the lab and they will take them and dispose of them for me. so I guess in your area you would have to call your hospital and find out where you would need take yours.. the lid on the container is not removable so I get the RED BIOHAZARD infectious waste bags. So when it is full I just empty it into the bag.I will include one with in with it the bags are pretty decent sized bags. I can empty my container into it probably 6 times. before its full and I take it to the hospital to have it disposed of. so the one bag that I will add in will last you awhile.
