The sapphire is mounted in between where the titanium band comes together and gives the illusion of floating. Of course titanium is the strongest metal on earth so it will not lose the stone. Thanks for your excellent question.

Well, it is 1/2 inch wide across the top, 1/8 inch deep setting, and the narrowest part at the bottom of band is 1/8 inch wide. I hope this explains things for you. If not, just ask a specific question because I'm not really sure if I answered to your satisfaction or not.

Wow this is beautiful, my husband gave me an engagement ring with a Sapphire in it, so it would actually match this, however I don't have the means to get more credits unless I can sell my Nancy Drew books at a nice credit price, however if I could, I would get it, as my husbands wedding band he has is a cheap one since we cannot afford much, and has already bent and is now like an egg shape on his finger. I hope and pray to find a good quality but inexpensive wedding band for him someday. Maybe someone has a good suggestion as the best type of band to get for a man's hand that won't bend on a dime, but would take immense force. Thanks. And watching!

Oh honey, this would be perfect for him. Titaniun is the strongest metal on earth. I have a few more I will be listing later on but no more with sapphires. I think I may have one just like this with a ruby but the rest don't have any gemstones. I don't know if you have a Kmart where you live but they still have lay-a-way, and some of the jewelry stores around here have lay-a-way and they also sell titanium rings which have become very popular and are much stronger and way cheaper than gold. The "floating" mounting, is technically called "tension set" -crissmanmichele- but floating sounds much more fun :)

ok here's a question for ya. I'm not sure what size finger he has a 10 would probably go with his FATHEAD!!! lol, you are so funny. I can't imagine why anyone would be upset if you relisted an item. After all, once you win it, it belongs to you. I understand some people are just testy.
