This item is the 1st or Premier Edition of The Jeweled"The Ruby throated Hummingbird" painted and signed by renown artist Lena Liu. The gold accents and the numbering on the bottom are real gold. As far as the jewels I do not have any info as to them being authentic or synthetic. This piece is originally a musical jewelry box but the lid was not included in the purchase. But the heirloom porcelain quality of this piece as is makes it a stunning addition to your boudoir as a ring or trinket dish.
