Description

The listing, UNKNOWN OLD Key with Swastika - World War II German or Good Luck Symbol? has ended.

This is an unusual item I found in a jar full of old stuff. I think it's a key, perhaps to a small chest or a clock. It's decorated with a swastika. I'm not sure if it's a Nazi piece or an earlier Good Luck symbol. See photos for condition. Quarter shown for size reference only. Shipping in the US is FREE, US bidders only. You must have a verified address and all Listia rules apply. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my other auctions!

It appears to be hinged, does it fold at all?

It doesn't fold, but it does move side to side slightly.

Possibly so, it's more like a pin than a key. Thanks!

thats what crossed my mind looking at it,,and i think the reason the end moves is so you could tie a trip wire onto it and it could even go around a corner the trip wire that is and be tripped to blow up,,,,i mean from me being in the army and seeing stuff you only can see in a military war museum us soldiers only had access to this museum and we could even pick stuff up to look at it ,,so it was a hands on museum but no savillians were aloud in these museum,s and they were only on a military instalation,,that pin is cool tho,,ill be watching,,may bid at the end,,good luck

You make a good point! You would think it would be one solid piece, but it appears it was made to swivel slightly. You are so lucky to have seen that museum and actually handle the war artifacts! Thanks!
