The listing, (1) VINTAGE Ball Bucilla TWINKLE-SHEEN Non-Tarnish CROCHET / KNITTING THREAD has ended.

Up for bid is a ball of vintage Bucilla Twinkle-Sheen silver metallic thread for crocheting and knitting doilies, mats, scarves and wearing apparel.

175 yards. Non-tarnish, washfast and sunfast. Color is Black with Silver. 73% mercerized cotton; 18% metal; 9% rayon.

This is extremely hard to find! Probably from the 50s or 60s, but in perfect condition! Smoke-free home, as I assume was original purchaser.

No GIN.

I'm sorry, there is no size listed on the label. I'll look around the web, and if I can find a size listed for it I'll let you know, but it's hard to find any listings for it.

The recommend hook and needle size should be on the label. Most craft threads are fashion sizes or bedspread size 10, 20, or 30.

Sorry, there is nothing on the label. I always try to add all the important information, but there is nothing as to size. And I have looked at the few that were once available on the internet, and none of them have a size listed either.

You are welcome! I would think a company as well-known as Bucilla would have the information on the label, but I looked at some old labels from the 50s and 60s, and could not see a size on them either. If I find information on it before the end of the auction, I will publish it. :)
