The listing, (3) 40 Yd. Skeins HIAWATHA Colorfast 100% PURE VIRGIN WOOL Needlepoint Yarn has ended.

Up for bid are 3 skeins of Hiawatha needlepoint yarn.

Now it looks to me like this yarn could be used for many other purposes than needlepoint, but that's what the label has it listed as! It is vintage, but in perfect condition.

The only place I could find a color name for 291, the person had it listed as brown. Now it may be brown, but it has a hint of mulberry to my eye. White specks are dings in my scanner top. :)

All three skeins are from the same dye lot, and each skein measures 40 yards, and is light resistant and moth proof. Made in England.

Smoke-free home, as I assume, was the original owner. Check my auctions for a different color of needlepoint yarn.

No GIN.

Like I said, another person had it listed as brown, but to my eye, it has a slight hint of mulberry... No color on label.
