Welcome! Thank you for your interest in previewing this hard cover 1943 vintage book entitled, “Dead Reckoning Altitude and Azimuth Table, H. O. No. 211, Third Edition” published by the United States Navy Department, Hydrographic Office. Its cost was only 90 cents back in the day! It does have a little writing on a couple of pages. It is in very good condition with no pages missing. Some of the titles on the pages read, “Preface, Development of the Formulae, & Method of Solution.” There are numerous tables. Also included is an index card with calculations handwritten by the original owner. This book would have been used with a sextant for navigation. I scanned a few random pages. The condition of this book is very good with no torn, creased or missing pages. Note: Any vertical line on the scanned images are not present on the actual item, just a fault of the scanner.
