I'm sorry, but how can you tell it writes to SD cards?

It says "Reader" in English on the front, but nothing I can see mentions the ability to write to SD cards. If it CAN write to SD cards, that would be very unusual.

This is the description from ebay where it was purchased.

Back of the package says "LED for bus activity monitoring view and edit the data directly on the reader - drag and drop files between cards"

Though not everyone on eBay is honest. I recent bought a couple of 64 GB SDHC cards that held only 8 GB. They didn't even offer to replace them, just refund. Which tells me they know they're selling counterfeit SDHC cards.
