It does not enable it to use the 150/250 software.
Used but, fully functional. No scratches or defects.This software upgrade for Singer CE-100 and CE-200 machines adds features found on the CE-150, CE-250 and CE-350 machines. There are five built in fonts, basic editing, reordering of designs and a repeat stitch feature.

Arial large.
Block large.
Script 2.
Courier.
Times large.
Basic editing.
Copy and paste.
Reordering of designs.
Repeat stitch.
Outline lettering with a running or satin stitch.
Combine designs from the library or an outside source.
Trace the outline of the design in the hoop for accurate position.
I have used this one as a replacement for my lost one. So if you have lost one or never had the upgrade this one is fine.
