I do so much free shipping, I am at my budget's end...a few of these had shipping added to help with costs...and it didn't cover full shipping costs. :)

Ok, I have an update: per back of package
(Easy care vinyl surface with 100% polyester backing. Wipe clean with damp cloth, no laundering necessary.) So, yes ...it has that softer feel underside backing.
