This is a 2012 Bowman Platinum "Gold" parallel for Seattle Mariners superstar "KING" FELIX HERNANDEZ.

"King" Felix suffered a lot of lean years with the Mariners. His pitching was never lean, mind you, but he had trouble getting run support from a weak Seattle offense to earn the wins to get noticed. That's no reflection on Felix's talent, as he's been one of baseball's very best pitchers since 2009. A great example is his 2010 season, when hernandez won the AL Cy Young Award despite a record of only 13 wins and 12 losses; he had a 2.27 ERA that year over 250 innings, collecting 232 strikeouts. That's the kind of pitcher he has been every year since. In 2014, many people feel he was cheated of his second Cy Young Award when he led the league with a miniscule 2.14 ERA, barely being edged by Corey Kluber, who had a higher ERA but won more games due to better run support.
