The one pictured is for parts only it doesn't work. We had it tested won't even charge. That's the only Nintendo I have at the moment

The Nintendo doesn't charge or even go on so unfortunately I don't know if the slot works or not.

It's very possible that the machine only needs a battery replacement. Nintendo batteries do stop charging after a while and they just die. Possible theory for those of you hoping to fix it after they win the auction.

Well, it's either that or it's waterlogged. Have you brought or left the machine anywhere near a source or area of water? If so, then it would only be useful for parts since water short circuits everything, but again, it's just a theory. (Insert clever reference here due to the Nintendo DS being a GAME system)

I'm not sure I got it from a box with other stuff in it everything else worked this didn't. I have the old Nintendo game system that works beautiful. This might have gotten waterlogged I'm not positive.

Well, there's no real way to know for sure, then. If you can, see if any of your friends have spare batteries they'll let you have and try them in the machine. Ya never know these days. And if it does work, trust me, this auction's gonna jump up so high XD

Well Hun you can start bidding cause it does work I put a new battery in it. And it powers on took it to game store they put a game in and it works perfectly. Thank you so so much for the advice.

Better works beautifully had to get another battery and a charger for it, but other than that it is working and charging. Also has both slots for the older and newer ds games
