1965 Topps was released in several series, with the high number series being the least printed series and hardest to find. Within the high number series, approximately 45 of the 228 cards were short printed, so they are short prints within a short print series, and are particularly hard to come by. This is one of the short prints from the 1965 high number series.

Probably lesser known only because of the sluggers who played during the 1960s, Bailey earned 6 trips to the All Star Game between 1956-1963, 4 while a member of the Cincinnati Reds and 2 as a member of the San Francisco Giants. Despite just over 4000 plate appearances during his career, Bailey popped 155 home runs, a great pace for a catcher, including 3 seasons of 20 or more and a career high 28 in 1956.

Card is in fantastic condition, near mint to mint. Nice corners, no chipping, well centered.
