The Flying Tigers were originally American pilots who volunteered to help China before the US got into war with Japan. Flying P40 Warhawks the volunteers did battle and got paid bonus money for every Japanese plane they shot down. The post card picture shows the famous shark like design of the Flying Tigers. On the back is a short paragraph about the P-40.
