The listing, 50s Babes in Toyland Disney TOYMAKER Hand Puppet has ended.

From the 50s and perhaps your memories is this cute little mustached man called the TOYMAKER, from Babes in Toyland. A Disney collectible, his vinyl head and cotton white with black polka dots puppet shirt is made by Gundikins by GUND. He measures shy of 10 inches tall and arm spread of 8 inches. His little white felt hands are worn(age) and he still has his red satin ribbon bow tie. Pink cheeks and a bald head with a curly 'stache, he's a fine collectible toy!. His shirt need a bit of cleaning but the winner can do that as they see fit or not! Smoke free home(now!). His squeak is still in tact inside(just noticed it now!) but I suspect the diaphragm is dried out.
Cutest fella ever!

None whatsoever! Ed Wynn was a favorite character actor of mine and found his way into Disney live-action movies like Babes in Toyland (as the Toymaker), in Mary Poppins (as her Uncle Albert who sings, "I Love to Laugh:" ). He hosted his own variety show on early television. His success in vaudeville and then on radio laid the foundation of a lifelong career and legacy......... which included inspiring his son, Keenan Wynn, to a long career as an actor (with Disney and on television, as well!)
