THE BEATLES 1964 U.S. Tour – Commemorative Brass Token - plated
"The U.S. visit"
North End Music Store(N.E.M.S.)- BRIAN EPSTEIN

The "copyright NEMS" mark is on the front of this souvenir token near the bottom, above the word "Beatles". These were handed out at Press events, etc. To promote their American tour.
●NEMS (North End Music Stores) was the name of the management company run by Brian Epstein before and during the time he managed The Beatles.
●Notice that it says "The Four Beatles", as later they were known as the Fab Four.
●And on the other side below the U.S. flag is marked "RAP", which may be the initials of the coin designer.
●Measures 1-1/4" diameter – about the size of a half dollar.
●Preserved in excellent condition for 51 years. Still untarnished after all these years, probably has a gold-wash or platinum plating.
●Great for any one's collection, or as a keepsake.

Sorry -they didn't give out COA's in 1964. I didn't buy this from anybody, it was a gift given to me on my birthday. Now I thought someone else might enjoy it.
