Yes it does run, it needs a new battery This was bought for my husband and the watch cost close to six hundred dollars in 1998 and he didn't care for it because I had it sized wrong and it was to small for his wrist. I offered to get it resized and he said he didn't like the nugget design. So the watch has been in my jewlery case since then.
The battery is dead.
