The Cincinnati Bengals 1st round pick (9th overall) in the 2008 draft, Rivers had been an All All American linebacker at USC. As a rookie, Rivers was off to a hot start when his season was cut short by a helmet-to-helmet hit from Hines ward of the Steelers, resulting in the "Hines Ward Rule" on helmet to helmet blocking. Despite playing in only 7 games, he received a vote for Rookie of the Year, the only vote that did not go to Jerod Mayo. He has since starred with the new York Giants and Buffalo Bills, and was signed for 2015 by the Dallas Cowboys.
