another helpful hint is watch for listians who have a lot of negative feedback when you fan someone, some are really bad but most are great and we have lots of fun if you run into a problem ask someone you have fanned they may be able to help or contact listia never assume and most of all have fun and enjoy 1 more thing never be afraid of blocking someone who is rude and makes lots of nasty comments there are some who do that and it makes it less enjoyable for the rest of us when we see tons of this going on they do it to be mean or to discourage bidders not to often but it does happen remember you are the boss your auction your rules not theirs and welcome to the family and see you on some auctions soon and fanned you back

If you want it bad enough come view it when it's about to end and bid on it again when its about to end. Like two seconds before it ends.

Oh, and when you click the little plusses in the comment bubbles, that gives the person XP bonuses which is nice, as well. I clicked all urs :)

Oh trust me, no it's much more safe/reliable to use paypal, at least in my opinion. Check it out @ paypal.com. it's up to you but that's all I'd do. As much as I love my fellow listians, ive been burned and lost $15 here and I'll never do a transaction outside of paypal... not to freak ya out or anything. But you'll know what I mean if ya get burned :) (which I hope never happens to you!!!)
oh, another tip. make sure you always "reply" to peoples' posts. under the comment bubbles people leave you, theres a reply button. hit that and type your reply to them. otherwise if people don't check back to your auction, they'll never know you wrote back to them, as it won't show up in their email as a returned comment :)

Just lookin out for my listia friends! Oh, and fan fan fan, comment comment comment. check out auctions, leave comments, click the comment bubble plusses, fan people and let them know you did so they fan you back. all this gets you xp, makes people feel like they can trust you more and makes you much more likely to have a successful auction! :) I hope I'm not being pesky, just wanted to give you some info since ur a newbie!

this is the wrong category...if you put it in the wrong one it could get removed. you should put it in the right one before someone bids on it.

i figured it was! if you don't pick one it gets listed in the first category. Advice tho? I'd say make sure to read all the listia rules and regs. I didn't and had an auction removed. That bummed me out. And always follow thru on your end of every auction! That the big issue with some listians. And that gets tiresome for the good listians! :) But otherwise, just enjoy a good deal! Oh, and you're going to get the most bids when you offer free shipping, when I started doing that, my auctions went much better! It may get a little expensive sometimes but then the next auction you win with free shipping, you're saving the money anyway.
Hope that helps! Just have fun!

Thanks. I thought i clicked free shipping lol the only thing I may ask for shipping on is stuffed boxes but if the priority flat rate boxes aren't much I might not. DVDs and CDs though are gonna be free because its maybe two bucks to ship and a money order alone is about a dollar.

oh no, you did click it on this one. It was just a tip for in general. And yes, I don't blame you on the stuffed boxes. It cost me $20 to ship 2 stuffed auctions where I offered free shipping. Ouch! lol Are you going to accept paypal?

I don't even know what paypal is lol it would seem easier to me to be able to get a money order though right?
