This lamp looks a lot like the oil lamp or hurricane lamp, but it's not. It is an electric lamp that uses a nightlight bulb (not included), and has a roll switch on the cord. The globe is pretty awesome decorated with like jungle greenery and ladybugs and dragonflies. Clean and in good working condition. From a smoke and pet free home.
