fyi,,,i went to the cricket store the other day and found out they have teemed up with another carrier and cricket no longer uses a sim card this made me very mad as i was going to set up a plan with my hydro phone i bought from cricket 2 years ago but has been of for a while well that phone has no sim card slot and there for can not be used any more at all with cricket ,,so i even told them i think you ow me a phone then ,,but of course you no what they said to buy one like heck i will i think that is bs ,,so if you had a working cricket phone with no sim card and it was a contract ,,you got screwd over and had to buy a new phone aint that nice of cricket to do that,,i went with metro pcs now ,,4 get cricket there a rippoff

I believe Virgin mobile is a CDMA network.....I think. This phone will work on any GSM network. It can be used on a prepaid service but it has to be a GSM network that uses a SIM card. Like ATT, T-Mobile, Cricket and others. Services like Verizon, Virgin, and Sprint I believe are CDMA. So it may be unable to be used. You could always call, or go to a store and ask to be sure.
