The listing, GORGEOUS HALF GEODE, 11g. has ended.

30mm X 25mm X 12mm HALF GEODE, 11g.

As you can see from the pictures provided, this is a Beautifully colored Half Geode! The entire interior is coated with crystals. I'm too much of a novice to be able to identify the druzy that coats this Geode, but, I'm sure that many here on Listia have a pretty good idea of what's what.
I WELCOME ALL COMMENTS THAT ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY THESE CRYSTALS AND BRING LIGHT FROM DARKNESS, KNOWLEDGE FROM IGNORANCE!
All I can tell you in absolute truth is that they are Gorgeous, a sort of Champagne color which ranges from light to dark. The walls of the Geode are an Orange-Pink color with swirls of white through them, while the outside of the Geode resembles a walnut shell, though smoother, with small white encrustations that rather look like tiny barnacles.
The people I purchased these from called them
'Oco Agate', and said they originated in Mexico, but didn't specify where in Mexico.
If you are looking for a beautiful specimen of Geode, but not necessarily something that weighs 10 pounds or blocks out the scenery, here's a good option for you!

This piece is more of a subtle beauty than the big flashy Amethyst Geodes. Oh, there's plenty of flash and sparkle, it's just not 'Loud' Flash & Sparkle, it kinda slips up from the side, and ingratiates itself to you in a more obscure frequency of light, a kinder, gentler, warmer kind of flash and sparkle...I like it a lot, too! Hi Michelle, I've searched diligently, and while I have a single section of amethyst geode, that I use for charging, the only actual geode I have that MAY be amethyst inside remains whole and unbroken. I DID find one (1) half geode, similar to this one that MAY be amethyst. If you are interested, I have pictures, but I need an email address to send the pics. I can't tell if the crystals are amethyst, but they definitely have a lavender look to them...not the really violet color but still, I think, in the amethyst wavelength. I'd be happy to send you the pics, so let me know!
