The listing, NICE 14K YG "MOM" LOCKET W/30 IN 925/YG FIGARO CHAIN has ended.

This beautiful "Mom" locket would be a lovely Mother's Day gift for your mom or a loved one. The front features a beautiful rose with the word "Mom" and a floral scroll design around it. It is made of solid 14k yellow gold and is stamped 14KT and the maker's mark on the back. I also acid tested it just to verify that it was not plated or filled. The inside holds 2 pics, the factory plastic is still protecting the inside. This was in a lot that I won, but I know that my mom would never wear it...I am sure that another Listian's will love it!

I have added a 30 inch figaro link chain. It is made of solid sterling silver and is gold plated. It is stamped 925 MADE IN ITALY and the maker's mark in a couple of places. The chain is long enough to slip over your head just in case mom has difficulty with the C clasp. Both pieces are in excellent condition and is sure to bring a smile to mom's face:)

SORRY TO BOTHER BUT I AM CONFUSED AND YOU CAN CLEAR THIS UP FOR ME The heart pandant is gold but the chain is silver ? is that right ? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the question that brought me to commenting / asking thou is my confusion over the chain ,, you said it is marked 925 but it is sterling silver but plated gold thats my confusion , what is 925 ? i been seeing 925 as proof something is real "sterling silver " so makes sense till i read it is " Gold Plated" , wondering why any jeweler would PLATE A real Silver Chain seeing as "plate' wears off making a real silver chain look bad once wear starts but why plate sterling , oh wait maybe answered my first question , yes confused sorry , lol now i think they both look gold but one is silver under the Gold plating to make them match , i swear im not trying to be difficult so maybe it is good i am the first visitor so any confusion can be cleared up at the start , Hoping not just me that didn't get it Thanks for your Patience with me Sincerely T .

.925 means that 92.5% of the alloy used is silver, commonly known as sterling silver. Although it is gold plated, the plating will last for many years just as long as it is taken care of. Sterling is more affordable than gold and is still a precious metal (has value and won't turn your skin green) so that's why I think that they plate it sometimes. Hope this info helps:)

It is stamped 14KT and the last character is the maker's mark. It looks like a stylized R. Hope this helps:)

Plating silver is actually very common I have a couple pieces of it I just baught a toe ring that is 925 silver with 14k gold plating and it is a beautiful piece
