Questions & Comments
I am not sure I understand this...does it actually print out a pattern for you, on your printer?
When my husband got home I asked him about this, he is kind of a geek..lol. He said that usually the software will say its mac compatible. I paid a couple hundred for this software and I have used it quite a bit. If you sew a lot or are an odd size its worth the money.
There is also things you can do to make points like fill out surveys. Its under the Get Credits link. I made about 4,000 points last night to help me win something I wanted on here.
This program retails for $25.00 No one can degrade this program and be taken seriously. This is a fantastic deal and whoever wins this auction should thank you for listing this.

This is a CD. I have never got an update for it. Just software you put on your computer. Nothing is online. An internat connection is NOT required. Maybe you are talking about a different version.
If you can run it on Windows/Vista, you can run it on Mac. I have done this manually, after taking a class, and there is a lot of math and metric measuring to be done. This is fantastic. Instead of taking hours to do a pattern you could just put in the disc?!! Wow!! I have gotta have this !! And yes, if it can make the pattern larger there is no reason why it couldn't make it smaller! It looks like it has the basic patterns that all patterns are derived from. You just adjust and adorn. Thank you so much for listing this :-)
I really think you are talking about a newer version. This will NOT run on a mac. It is for Window 95 versions up to Vista. That is what it says on the disk.
This software is awesome! If you need more information, here is the manufacturer's website - it will tell you if it is mac or not. :) I have a PC, so it isn't a problem for me. The pattern size goes from junior girl to no limit adult woman. :)
The only limit is your imagination. I used to teach sewing we made patterns for everyone with this. It even gives you instructions on how to lay out the pattern on the material and how much you need.
I've never heard of this kind of thing but as much sewing as I love to do, it could be just wonderful! I think I run Win98 on my older PC... I'll have to check, but if I do, I'm bidding:-)
Not a dumb question! You put the actual measurments of the person you are sewing for in the program. So yes, I don't see why you couldn't use it for kids. Its a pretty cool program. You should never have to buy another pattern!
LOVE this!! Have many designs and its very hard to make your own patterns... So Id love this!! Plus I run windows on my pc:) Btw, if it doesn't say it will run on mac, then it won't. In my experience with macs, it has to say mac compatible. Bid & Watching! Please check out my auctions and stay tuned as I have more to come!!
It says Windows 98 to Vista CD ROM. I don't know if it would be interchangable with a Mac or not. I think you can run pretty much anything on a Mac you can on Windows. I know all the programs I have ever used can be run on either. You might call Best Buy or a place like that and ask if a program runs on windows can it be run on a mac.
Its not toddler styles but the way the pattern maker works, you put the measurements in and it makes the pattern according to the measurement. The CD also says no size limits. I have used it and made anything from little girls dresses to size 30 dresses. I think it would be fine for toddlers clothes.
Unlike commerical paper patterns though, Click&Sew automatically creates custom fit fashion patterns for a wide variety of figure types drafted to your measurements. Click & Sew patterns are sized for adult women through junior girls. There are no upper size limitations. In addition, Click & Sew patterns are not limited to any season. No pattern making skills are ever needed. Patterns may be tiled and printed on your home computer and printer using any size sheet of paper and then taped together for a complete, full scale pattern. Each Click & Sew pattern contains the Pattern Drafter, Yardage Calculator, Garment Construction Sheets and an embroidery placement and planning tool.
Thanks for the info. But I have made dresses for my grandaughter and she is a size 4T. I know they make kids size pattern CD as well. I just know what I have been able to do with it.
OKay, My darling of a Geek husband looked this up....there is an update for this online. You only need to install the update if you are installing on Vista or Windows 7. There are multiple pattern makers by Wild Ginger. Refer to NormaJeans1 comments, she is correct. There are free updates online. WILL NOT RUN ON THE MAC OS UNLESS YOU HAVE IT RUNNING VIRTUAL PC, PARALLELS, AND BOOTCAMP. THANK YOU NORMAJEAN1
