Description

The listing, PCGS Slabbed PR-69 DCAM 2001-S Proof North Carolina State Quarter has ended.

This auction is for a PCGS Slabbed PR-69 DCAM 2001-S Proof North Carolina State Quarter in the PCGS State Flag Label.
The scans above are of the actual coin that you will receive, and are provided for you to verify it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

** I am now forced to add a rider to all of my descriptions stating:
I will ship out your item on the next available day after auction end, first class with tracking, but can no longer promise when your item will arrive. The USPS has become extremely unreliable and there is no other alternative that is cost effective to allow for your item to show up in a timely manner.
I always offer Free Shipping W/Tracking and if you wish to make sure to receive your item within 2 - 3 days, you will need to let me know and pay for either Priority Mail, or UPS service.
I do keep tabs on the tracking and will keep you up to date as to the status, but ever since the first of this year the majority of the items sent have taken far too long to arrive at their destinations, while a few of them have made it within 3 -4 days. Please understand that I have no control over the package, whatsoever, after I drop it at the post office. Thank you in advance for your understanding. **

Great auction! Is it expensive to have these graded? How would I go about doing this?

you can go to any of the TPGS sites and they will tell you what you need to do in order to send in coins to be graded. some may only deal with licensed dealers and may only accept many at a time. I have a dealer that will send mine in with his when he does once a month, he charges for the shipping both ways, insurance and the $17 fee for each coin.

tank you very much for that. I know that graded coins are your favorite, and if you wish, go and check, for I have 2 more up at the moment as well.

I really hate to hear about anyone who has to sell coins from their collection to pay bills, but do also know that they were purchased as an investment and I do hope that you at least came out ahead in the meantime.

I decided to start off 3 of the 4 at the 499 mark... have always seen that the people here on listia know what everything is worth.

good luck. this one and the other are duplicates of the same coin and grade, but the slab was what made me pick up a couple of these. now all of you have a chance at something a bit different.

I have set up a reminder to let you know when I do. I do have quite a few ready to be listed that have come from some large lots I purchased just to get 1 coin in it.
I am trying not to list too many at 1 time since the post office is just killing me with these delayed deliveries and sending shipments all over the country instead of any type of direct route to its destination.

Lol. There is no direct route when it comes to the post office just use tracking and you will be fine. Happens to me too. Cannot go by the scheduled delivery dates. But should be better now with Spring here.

you would think so, but it appears to actually be getting worse. no more holiday excuse, weather excuse, temp employee excuse. I have always used tracking and always will. It started out as entertainment watching items go to California, then Iowa just to get to Mississippi from Louisiana, but now is a necessity for any and all deliveries hat are taking 2 weeks to get where they are going.

I did have one that was sent in the wrong direction and then lost for 2 weeks until I called on a USPS truck. And of course i got vlamed. Really not fair for the sellers who trust USPS to do their jobs and then take rheir time.

there is the best reason these days to always provide tracking. without it you have no way of telling where it is or proof that you even sent it.

I did ask them lol if they thought pony express would be any faster.

these days, media mail might even be faster and cheaper. I do know that items I have shipped to you are usually there in a decent amount of time, for your not that far away. but there was at least once that it took far too long to go from my state to yours, right next door !!
