This vintage 1970s Life magazine has great pictures of famous "rock stars"-at home with their parents! Dated September 24, 1971, the cover has a large picture of the late Michael Jackson, as part of the JACKSON FIVE. Inside, there are photos of other legends, such as Frank Zappa, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Joe Cocker, Grace Slick, David Crosby, Richie Havens and probably more. In very good condition with all pages intact, it shows light wear with a couple of very small tears, as photographed to show. There is addressee label on the front and a slight weakening of one of the binding staples. Im surprised at the number of cigarette advertisements throughout. Of interest, are the rest of the contents, titled; Attica Prison's Bloody Monday, Nikita Khrushchev's Quiet Passing, The Rock Family Affair, The Promoter and the Crime Buster (frank sharp/will wilson), Take Me Fishing, The Man Who Tried to Save Penn Central (bill moore),Canvases Brimming with Color, Parting Shots (patricia harris, thor hayerdahl).
