Description

The listing, **LOOK!** Cosmetically flawed but WORKING Gateway MX3701 LAPTOP COMPUTER - **LOW GIN!** has ended.

Up for auction is a Gateway MX3701 notebook computer. Part of the screen is out as shown in pic #3 and it has some burn marks on the top of the shell, but it still runs great.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO OPERATING SYSTEM CURRENTLY INSTALLED! After wiping the hard-drive I meant to get a disc and reinstall Windows but never got around to it. The serial number for Windows and everything else on the bottom of the machine is still attached and intact.

With the flaw in the screen, even though the screen DOES still work, this computer would be perfect to hook up to your TV or an external monitor to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. on... Or you can do as I did and hook it up to an external monitor, keyboard & mouse, and use it as a desktop pc.

Specs can be found here: http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/Q106/Bishop/2905896Rsp3.shtml

Thank you for looking and good luck should you bid! Items ship FREE within 3-5 business days of auction end, via USPS 1st class mail with delivery confirmation included.

All questions and comments are welcome and I fan all of my fans in return :)

I own one just like this myself. In fact, it's what I'm typing this post with. It's a very durable computer and has been very reliable even with all the abuse I've given it. The price is very much worth it. As a matter of fact, I happen to have an extra LCD screen for this model that is of no use to me. Maybe the three of us (seller, buyer, and I) can work out some sort of trade. Not interested in money cause that's not what Listia is all about. Good luck to all bidders!!! FANNED AND WATCHING for the fun of it.

The only reason he bad talked the auction is cause he has nowhere near enough credits so is simply being a sore loser about it. Even if the screen was totally cracked, the GIN would be phenomenal.

I appreciate the vote of confidence! :) It really is a great machine; I'd keep it but my spouse is a Senior DBA for GE so we are literally given a ton of computer parts as well as laptops, and I'm also getting a MacBook this week. No point in letting it collect dust!
