The listing, 1962 Topps #119 BOBBY WALSTON (Eagles) - Retired as NFL's All-Time Leading Scorer! has ended.
This is an original vintage 1962 Topps BOBBY WALSTON football card.
Walston was both an end (receiver) and kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bobby, who played 12 seasons (all with the Eagles), played as both a kicker and as a wide receiver, allowing him to score 881 points (46 TDs, 617 points kicking), which was the NFL record at the time of his retirement. While the NFL record has since been beaten, it still stands as the Eagles franchise record. He made 2 Pro Bowl's and was named as a member of the NFL's All 1950s Team.
Card pictured is the card you will receive. Not mint, but not beaten up. Would probably grade as very good to excellent, which isn't bad considering that the 1962 set is very condition sensitive and very few cards achieve so much as an 8 grade.
Thanks for looking, happy bidding, and good luck!
