The first Space Congress took place in Cocoa Beach, Florida, April 20-22, 1964 -- with the theme “Where Are We Going in Space?”

The organization's goal is to bring together the best in the commercial and private spaceflight industries to motivate all generations of space pioneers to focus on a common goal to reach to space to resolve scientific questions, and to provide means for low-gravity manufacturing, etc., with the use of facilities located in Florida.
