Well if you love humor, you will love this! It is a light switch cover, and I guess I do not need to say where the lights switch will be, you can tell by the photo! LOL. this is silver color, but you could paint it any color to go with your decor. Just beware, guests can have a shock look on their face if they see it! LOL. Perfect gag gift.

Plastic? or metal?

I am not sure, I don't think it is plastic, or it is a very hard type of plastic, It is "cold" like metal, but it is not heavy like metal. It weighs 10 oz on the scale, and it has some weight to it, but not more like a heavy type plastic I think
