Its about 38 ins long. I don't think I have ever seen one 6 feet long. Thanks for looking and good luck on your quest. You might see if there is some way you could connect two. Find a Best Buy or Radio Shack they might be able to help you. Might check ebay too.

Would this work on a Third Gen. Nano?

Not sure. Does you nano have a place to put the long type of connector or is it just a small hole where the charger connects. This is for Apple Iphone and Ipods. Not sure what a nano takes.
