This is a 2015 Topps "Spring fever" card for Los Angeles Angels superstar MIKE TROUT.

Topps Spring Fever is a HTA-shop promotion; the packs cannot be purchased but instead are offered as a promotion for spending more than $20 on Topps products (in past years, these cards required a redemption card). A purchase of $20 or more entitled the buyer to one 5-card pack of Spring Fling, a 50-card foil promotional set.

Considered many to be the Joe DiMaggio of modern day baseball, Mike Trout won Rookie of the Year in 2012 while finishing as the runner-up to Miguel Cabrera as MVP that season. In 2013, he would again finish runner-up to Miggy, before winning the AL Most Valuable Player Award in 2014. A dynamo hitter with fantastic glove work, Trout's popularity continues to rise, as does his team. With a formidable offense that includes both Trout and slugging legend Albert Pujols, the Angels look to be a World Series contender for years to come.
