This Auction is for a Stamped Sterling Silver Triquetra or Trinity Knot Pendant. Please see all the photos to see the stamp. This lovely Sterling Silver Cast piece measures 1" Long by 3/4th" wide. This piece is of course BRAND NEW with no tags and another remainder from my brick and mortar store.

Triquetra is from the Latin tri- "three" and quetrus "cornered") originally meant "triangle" and was used to refer to various three-cornered shapes. Nowadays, it has come to refer to a particular more complicated shape formed of three vesicae piscis, sometimes with an added circle in or around it. Also known as a "trinity knot," the design is used as a religious symbol by both Christians and polytheists.

From a Christian prospective the Three Points of the triquetra symbolize the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. With the Circle being a Symbol of a infinity. God is omnipotent and promises. "Ever lasting life" John 3.16 have both been associated with the circle.

For the Pagan, Wiccan, Wicca, Druid, and "polytheistic" it is a Symbol of the Triple Goddess, or maid, mother, and Crone. For some certain Gods and Goddesses.
