The listing, Vintage moving wing butterfly pin brooch - marked LB in a bell has ended.

From the estate of the matriarch of the family, a lifetime antiques collector.

Vintage 1950s? rhinestone and enamel silvery metal butterfly with spring loaded wings that flap. About 60 spots for the rhinestones. One is missing in the body and one in the left wing.

Costume jewelry marked with a symbol I could find no information about. Capital "LB" in a bell shape.

2 inches across by 1.5 inches tall.

Unknown metal.

My mama had one like this. I remember seeing it in her jewelry box all my life and when she passed, she left me her jewelry but...THAT WASNT IN THERE! I was upset but have no way of knowing if for some strange reason she got rid of it, or if it got pilfered by my nieces before I got there. They aren't talkin! Lol. I love it! F&W.

Thank you for the story! I had never seen one like this before and all my various grandmothers and grandmothers in law's jewelry made its way past me, and many estate jewelry lots as well, so this moving wing seems unique to this pin! glad you like/remember this one.Best of luck! ;)
