Up for bid is a vintage 1904 postcard by R. Hill, "The Schoolmarm". It is an undivided back, unused, but does have the proper postage affixed.

She thinks she's so wise none can fool her
Or further in knowledge can school her;
But, the truth to impart,
She makes the boys smart
By briskly applying a ruler!

Caricature postcards were very popular in the early 1900s, and this one was a caricature of a strict teacher. Card is in very good condition for being over 110 years old. Minor discoloration is the main fault.
