The listing, NATIVE AMERICAN AUTHENTIC, (FROM A FARRIER). ALL HANDMADE DESIGN OOAK "GOOD LUCK" HORSESHOE!!! has ended.

I AM PART CHEROKEE IN HERITAGE. WHEN I WAS NOT SO ILL I USE TO MAKE THESE. My horseshoes are straight from a farrier off of a horse, a worn horseshoe. This is an Authentic Horseshoe all handmade, that involved HOURS of work. First, if there is part of the leather shoe attached, I remove that, and any nails. I clean the dirt out of all the holes and crevices. Then I hand sand the rust off. Wash and scrub it, remove more rust if I see any and can. Then I polyurethane the horseshoe all over one side at at time letting it dry on each side overnight and then polyurethane a 2nd time. Following that, I mix any special colors of my choice and paint and paint my horseshoe, then polyurethane a final time. After that final coat of polyurethane I decorate the horseshoes. Each one is unique and one of a kind. Some have beads, some do not, some feathers, some not. It is said to place a horseshoe above your entrance door in your home and it will bring Good Luck To All Who Enter. Many display these inside to match their home decor. Shown on a wall that is a different color in the last 2 photographs for contrast. Perhaps this will match your home. It makes a very personal unique gift. I take much pride in my work.

Oh Thank You very much for your kind words. This one is relatively simple with the Colored Goose Feathers. My only objective is to bring joy to others through my work. i have some I would never part with that are made for example, to commemorate my best childhood memories and the best of times I had with my son as he was growing up.
