The listing, Rare! 1971 Topps #665 RON SWOBODA (Expos) High Number Short Print RARE! has ended.
1971 Topps #655 RON SWOBODA (Expos).
Swoboda played 9 MLB seasons, and was a member of the 1969 Miracle Mets. He drove in the winning run in the final game of the 1969 series, but is probably best remembered for his outstretched game-saving catch in game 4, which remains one of the most idelible images of Mets lore. He played all but 39 games of his career in New York, including 6 seasons with the Mets and 2 1/2 with the Yankees. He played the first half of 1971 in Montreal, which this card captures, before joining the Yankees later that season.
Card is pictured. 1971 Topps is a very condition sensitive set. This card is not mint, but it's not beaten up. Crease-free. Not bad for a free copy of a rare high number SP from '71 Topps!
Thanks for looking, happy bidding, and good luck!
