Nintendo ds lite. --- broken --- worked great up to the minute it was snapped in half during a wrestling match. supposedly it can be fixed, not by me but someone with a big brain could do it. comes with original box and manual. stylus included but no charger. free shipping

Why would anyone want it? I'll tell ya why. If you know what you are doing, you can easily fix this DS. For about 23 bucks, you can get a new shell (about 10 bucks) and a new screen (about 13 bucks) on ebay and as a bonus, the special screwdriver needed to open these things comes free with the shell if you use the right seller.. DONE! Then, keep it or resell it. Fanned!

Sorry but i like the 7 day auction over the get it now option. its exciting to see how much it will go for. sometimes you win and get alot and other times you fail and get a tiny bit of credits for something, but thats the exciting part.

I will not be sending the charger. when it is plugged in the charge light comes on. i will fully charge it before i ship it to the winner.

IS there a reason that the charger will not be sent. It should come with the DS lite as how else would we charge it if it's fixed

It came with a charger, but it has been very nice having an extra charger to keep at grandmas house. sorry but i need the extra one to avoid a no charger at grandmas house meltdown in the future

I have family in Modesto.
The metal hinges Celia was talking about it holds the 2 pieces together. If you view larger the 5th picture (the bottom half of the DS) there should be a hinge axle on the top right, to the left of the power lights directly above the X button. In there should be the hinge axle. And another hinge should be on the opposite side were the brown wires are coming out. If they're are not there then you need a new hinge axle and another hinge that holds the top and bottom screens together. Hinges are no more than $2. Plus the white microphone wire, and the brown wires that connects to the mother boards of the 2 screens. It don't look like you'll need a new DS shell if its not broken. Just replace the wires and the hinges. Hope this helps to who wins this. If the credits don't pass my limit then I'll throw my bid in.
