Description

The listing, NGC Graded MS64 1962-D Franklin Silver Half Dollar has ended.

This auction is for a NGC Graded MS64 1962-D Franklin Silver Half Dollar.
The scans above are of the actual coin that you will receive, and are provided for you to verify it.
I always do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am starting this one off a little bit more than usual, but less than half of its worth.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

** I am now forced to add a rider to all of my descriptions stating:
I will ship out your item on the next available day after auction end, first class with tracking, but can no longer promise when your item will arrive. The USPS has become extremely unreliable and there is no other alternative that is cost effective to allow for your item to show up in a timely manner.
I always offer Free Shipping W/Tracking and if you wish to make sure to receive your item within 2 - 3 days, you will need to let me know and pay for either Priority Mail, or UPS service.
I do keep tabs on the tracking and will keep you up to date as to the status, but ever since the first of this year the majority of the items sent have taken far too long to arrive at their destinations, while a few of them have made it within 3 -4 days. Please understand that I have no control over the package, whatsoever, after I drop it at the post office. Thank you in advance for your understanding. **

I totally understand tracking is definitely the best way to go for both the lister and the winner I was getting mad at the people who I was sending items to because they kept saying either they never got the item or it was broken but then I found out that about half of the refund request's were lagitamit and the usps had lost damaged or out right delivered to the wrong address it was pretty messed up and the other half were cons and the winners did receive their item and lied obout their complaint and I still had to refund about 300,000 credits to keep my perfect rep

If you know that you are right, stick to your convictions and do not lose an item to someone else.

and since I started using tracking I haven't had a single problem except for the added cost but it is well worth it in the long run if only for false claims and careless postal workers but I still have problems with people saying they sent an item without tracking but I never got the items and they tried to call me a scammer or that I just needed to wait a few more days and I real don't mind waiting if I haven't received the item after the listia required amount of days then i ask the sender with a simple message when it was sent and that's all ill still wait for about a month before contacting them again to give the benefit of the doubt and I always click the got it button as soon as I receive my item but that get's real old real fast so I primarily only bid on items with tracking unless the risk is minimal and the reward is great but so far I've had no troubles when tracking is involved its amazing when the usps might be held accountable with tracking every thing gets where it needs to go but without tracking suddenly every one is retarded I think its crap its the same system used for both standard and tracking the only difference is they put a bar code on the one with tracking that gets scanned at various points along that same standard delivery system both delivered the exact same way one has a sticker one does not I've looked in to it extensively and the only difference is that without tracking the usps can be lazy and carless without repercussions and with tracking they have to do their job its a big scam tracking should be provided with every delivery automatically for the safety of all parties involved sender , reciever , and middle men any way GREAT LISTING VERY NICE ITEM FANNED AND WATCHING AND WILL CHECK OUT YOUR OTHER LISTINGS AS WELL HAPPY BIDDING&LISTING AND HAVE AN EXALLENT WEEKEND sorry about the rant just thought you could relate

I can relate much more than you know, and when it comes to the post office, I can make this comment look like a regular "F&W" comment in length. good luck and I hope that in the future all of your auctions turn out perfectly.

propaganda against the USPS? say it isn't so... (hopefully, obvious sarcasm) if there was any type of competition for the post office they would go away in an instant.
Imagine that UPS or Fed-Ex matched the prices of the post office on first class w/tracking, for a 4-5 day ground, items would get to their destination sooner, cheaper and then the post office would have to pick up their game, or be nothing but junk mail delivery service.
