ok im gonna watch and hopefully will get went to turn on laptop today and now my screen is black and wont come on grr paid a bundle for that lptp and am pssed....-.-

What type computer do you have? Most use the blue plug. Is yours a laptop? What kind of plug is yours? One end of the plug to this one plugs into the back of the monitor and the other end plugs into the back of the tower. Hope this helps. :)

Ye shouldnt have any problems i am using my moms old monitor on it right nowjust plugged it into the side of my gateway laptop and bam it came right on, but i think someone got into my shared files and messed with my computer settings cause after i hooked this other monitor up my laptop monitor came on too, but not today? they had to change my config settings or something? they were pssed at me lol
