So, educate me on these a little if you don't mind. My son is a Newer Sailor just got pout of A School & is at his "home base" for about 2 weeks now. He loves vintage Navy stuff etc... So if these were his same rate squadron whatever he would llove these just to hang on to. So his I guess rate is he's AM (Structural aircraft Mechanic) squadron hsc-26 out of Norfolk. Will be deployed over to Bahrain quite a bit. So I see different I guess the letters on these are the rate???

I'm sure if you google each squadron it will give you the history of them

Good idea I always forget to do that. Yes, my son is ok in a navation squadron too. He loves getting old stuff just if anything to ensure it keeps nice. I'll Google and see what history I can find. Thanks.
