I am back Listia friends and fans!

I am going to try and give many wonderful items away, so keep your eyes pealed. lol I have included close up pics to view.

I came across this in an attic long, long, long ago when I was young where I was working. This is one awesome find! I am pretty sure it is the Starsky & Hutch car. I know that the Gran Torino that was in the show was a 1976. The roman numerals on the bottom of this are MCMLXXV which I think is 1974? That's what I got when I did Google. It also says SPELLING GOLDBERG PRODUCTION. This is not in perfect shape. The drivers side door comes off because a piece is gone, but it does snap back on tight. I did not have batteries to test it fully, but did test the light. You turn that on and off by turning the light. It did not light up, but the car made a loud wining noise. The bottom by the front drivers wheel has a small crack. The battery door is missing part of the lock latch. I found two gear pieces inside and taped them to the bottom so they wouldn't get lost. It looks like the windows have shrunk a little ?? The back bumper has a crack on the drivers side.This car is very dusty inside and will need a good cleaning. Still Great for a collector that knows how to fix things like this. VERY, VERY, RARE! I could not find one like it on the net. This is not a small car. Pleas view pics.

I am so glad to hear that. I love it when something brings back memories. I have traveled a lot and when I smell diesel fuel tons of memories surface. lol I was standing on the porch less than an hour ago and a truck came by. My son said ewoooooo that smells bad. lol I said it brings back memories. lol And then the questions started flying. lol :) :) :) :)

My sister had one when we were little. It came with a spare wheel and two small plastic figurines that fit in the car that were Starsky and Hutch.

This is the car from the show, it had a white stripe on it that looked like the forks from a fork lift, but i don't know if they had it on the car when they made this. real cool find! fanned you

@dstouder:.....The wheels may have rubber on them. I don't remember. I have it packed so well with peanuts and bubble wrap that I wouldn't want to unpack it. But I can if you need me to????

In the pics above I included some with a tape measure for size reference. You should be able to judge it close by viewing the pics with the tape measure. I can't measure it anymore because it is packed up already. Hope this helps. :)

This is from Starsky & Hutch the decal on this model was a sticker so no clue where it is now. Also so you know this looks like a 1975 Mego Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino with twist out action. Fanned and watching hope it sells big.
