The listing, MIKE TROUT 2014 Topps High Tek Promo Card!!! Sweet RARE Acetate card!! has ended.

When promoting Topps High Tek, Topps sent promotional cards to each shop to promote and sell the product. Promo cards were made for Trout, Clayton Kershaw, Jeff Bagwell, Cal Ripken, Carlton Fisk, and Yu Darvish. Topps mailed 2 of 6 available promo cards to each of approximately 600 hobby shops (1200 total cards), indicating there are only about 200 of each card available. While there are rarer variations in Topps Tek, this is the one you will NOT pull out of a pack.. I got lucky and talked a local shop owner out of this one in a trade just so I could impart it on a lucky Listian! (He's still got the Bagwell, if anyone's interested, lol!)

Card is brand new, mint.

On items you collect, absolutely! That's me on a lot of Pittsburgh Pirates items, unless I'm bidding just for a double/backup copy of something. I'm sure there's plenty of guys who'll confirm, I mean BUSINESS when I see a McCutchen, Kiner, or Mazeroski item I do not have. Clemente, too, but to a lesser degree; more shops keep Clemente in stock, so it's less important for me to bid them here.
I do bid low on some stuff. I participate in a local trade circle and I'll bid items here with the intention of trading them there for Pirates cards, lol! I'll take stab bids on things. "That might be good trade bait if I can get it cheap." It works really well for me, since I find very few unique Pirates cards on here, but really enjoy the site and the method. So, that's 85% of what I bid on, trade bait.

Yeah, I run everything at 10 days, have since I started on the site. The goal is maximum opportunity for buyers to see it, but sometimes it backfires. I'll post something I've never seen on the site, by day 3 it has 27 watchers ... and suddenly 3 other guys will list 3-5 day auctions of the same item because they see people want it, and that pretty much snubs out the fire, lol!
