This piece of fabric has been the hardest yet to photograph and represent fairly. It is a beautiful array of colors....all blended together almost like a collage. In the center is a rectangular piece featuring grapes, leafs, and birds in bright colors, that cross over the border as if they flew there and landed. The large 4 corners are angles off the center, and are so vivid with color that it looks like a painting. In one corner there are apples in hues of red with sparrow nested in them, while more apples drape over it's head. The background is like the morning sunrise with dangling leaves in the foreground. A cardinal is perced on the golden band separating the 2 areas and his colors are a vibrant red. The upper left corner is done with purple grapes in robust shades of ripening with a yellow finch netles amount them. Again it looks like a golden sunrise or sunset. The bottom left corner finds red grapes hanging down among the leaves that nuture them, and a gold finch sits on a grape vine..Above that from the center rectangle a bird (of what kind I do not know) golden in color with a long, long tail sits perched like he is watching the finch below. The right hand corner has a cardinal perched among some golden pears that look like you take a bite out of them. and again the golden hues are present. All of this is surrounded 3/4" band of dark gold with a narrow band of wine around that. Next, there is a 2 1/4" band of a olive green color with a muted green leaf design threaded through it. Again there is the thin band of wine, follow by a 2" band of dark gold followed by a band of of deep purple of 2 7/8". there is no slack for a wide hem, so of course, I would go for a 1/4", but you may prefer a standard 5/8" hem. I would put a thin layer of poly and then try to find a fabric in some shade of gotd tones for the back. Make 3-4 loops and mount in an open area. This is just too lovely to put in a hall or small corner nook.
