Can you please tell me why this game is rated Mature; is it for Language and Violence?

I'm not sure - I never played it but based on the game's predecessor, I would say yes. The predecessor was not overly violent or contain extremely bad language but there was some in it. Personally, I would have rated the predecessor a T for Teen but I think it also got an M rating. Also, there is some sexual innuendos in the predecessor so I can assume the same for this one as well. Nothing overt but not something I'd want my 7 year old (if I had one) seeing. The main character is rather voluptuous and not afraid to flirt to get what she wants. Some of the dialog can be suggestive. Again, this is all based on the game's predecessor The Longest Journey. I never actually played this game. I wish I could give you a better answer but I hope this is good enough.
