1963 Better Homes & Gardens-"Birthdays and Family Celebrations" cookbook.Some people find cooking and baking to be super fun. I don't happen to be one of them, but I must say that some of these recipes sound like they may be fun. For instance, the Cake Canaveral that has a chocolate launching pad! It isn't all baked goods, oh no, There is a recipe for something called Greengage Plum Salad. It calls for greengage plums (so now I know what the greengage part is), lemon flavored gelatin, lime flavored gelatin, celery, cream cheese, light cream, and mayonnaise. I know when I think of deliciousness, it involves jello, celery and mayonnaise mixed together. Hey, as long as there is some Cake Canaveral for dessert right?
